Head of Marketing
Leeds (Hybrid – 2 Days Per Week)
£70,000 - £90,000 + Benefits
Applicants must have previous experience working within a DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) beauty or fashion brand.
We're partnering with an ambitious, founder-led consumer brand that has experienced exceptional growth over the last few years. Having built a loyal customer base and a strong digital presence, the business is now entering its next stage of expansion across both DTC and retail channels.
As part of this exciting journey, they're looking to appoint a Head of Marketing to bring together brand, digital and commercial marketing under one strategic leader. Reporting directly to the Founder, this is a rare opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of a high-growth business, building the marketing function and influencing the wider commercial strategy.
The Role
You'll take ownership of the entire marketing function, ensuring the brand and commercial trading strategy work seamlessly together while leading a growing team and managing external agency partners.
You'll be responsible for developing the long-term marketing vision while remaining close enough to execution to ensure ideas become reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver the overall marketing strategy across both brand and commercial marketing.
- Own the annual marketing calendar, ensuring brand campaigns and trading activity are fully aligned.
- Lead brand positioning, customer engagement and storytelling across all channels.
- Work closely with the ecommerce function to drive revenue, customer acquisition and trading performance.
- Manage external agencies across paid media, social media and digital marketing.
- Analyse marketing performance and present commercial insights and recommendations to the Founder.
- Build, mentor and develop the internal marketing team as the business continues to grow.
- Manage marketing budgets and ensure investment delivers measurable commercial return.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across ecommerce, product and operations to support continued business growth.
- Help shape the future marketing structure as the company scales internationally.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
