Head of Marketing and Business Development | Private Healthcare

Location: Sussex (hybrid/flexible working available)
Salary: Competitive + benefits
Type: 12 month FTC

We are partnering with a leading independent healthcare organisation to appoint a Head of Marketing and Fundraising to lead their marketing function and support the next phase of commercial growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You will lead the development and execution of the organisation’s marketing strategy, strengthen patient acquisition channels, enhance digital engagement, and support wider business development objectives.

This role will suit someone who understands how to build trust, grow relationships, and deliver measurable commercial outcomes within a high-consideration service environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an integrated marketing strategy aligned to organisational growth plans
  • Lead and support a marketing team, driving performance and continuous improvement
  • Improve customer/patient acquisition through digital channels, CRM and lifecycle marketing
  • Use insight, analytics and market intelligence to identify growth opportunities
  • Develop stakeholder relationships to support referral pathways and business development
  • Build engagement strategies with key professional networks and partners
  • Oversee CRM systems and digital tools to improve customer journeys and conversion
  • Support fundraising activity aligned with the organisation’s charitable objectives
  • Work closely with senior leadership to shape future growth initiatives

We are looking for:

  • Senior marketing leadership experience within a commercial, service-led organisation
  • A track record of driving growth, customer acquisition and engagement
  • Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of CRM, digital marketing and customer journeys
  • A commercially minded marketer who can translate strategy into measurable results
  • Experience within healthcare, professional services, financial services, education, hospitality, or another trust-based industry would be advantageous
