Head of Marketing

About Us

United Media is a business which focuses on building large-scale industry media and conference products in sectors such as insurance, HR, private equity, retail, etc. To date, we have organically launched six companies and acquired one.

Your Responsibilities

This role entails a varied scope of responsibilities, primarily centred around:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor the marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
    • Set clear goals and expectations, providing regular performance evaluations.
    • Responsible for recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Partner with sales, product development, and other teams to align marketing strategies with business objectives.
  • Campaign Management:
    • Oversee the planning and execution of campaigns across:
      • Email marketing
      • Social media
      • Website content
      • (Entry combinations of relevant marketing channels)
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy in line with company goals.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges.

Requirements

We seek candidates who:

  • Have over 10 years of work experience, with a track record of exceptional performance.
  • Possess a relentless drive to excel, pushing the boundaries of their abilities.
  • Exhibit an unparalleled work ethic with a high sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Take ownership of all tasks, remaining proactive and committed to follow-through.
  • Are passionate about people, with a talent for relationship-building, conversation, and team nurturing.

Our working model Monday - Friday is in the office (next to Victoria Station), and we do not offer remote work.
