Head of Marketing

Digital Marketing Agency

Manchester - Hybrid working, 2 days in the office

Are you a commercially minded marketing leader who thrives on building high-performing brands and inspiring exceptional teams?

We're looking for an experienced Head of Marketing to lead the strategy, planning and execution of marketing activity for a well-established international consumer brand. This is a leadership opportunity where you'll shape long-term marketing direction, influence commercial outcomes and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business growth.

You'll be responsible for developing insight-led marketing strategies, leading high-performing teams and agency partners, managing significant budgets and ensuring every campaign delivers against ambitious commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Lead annual and quarterly marketing planning, ensuring effective delivery across all channels.
  • Use customer insights, market trends and performance data to optimise marketing effectiveness.
  • Establish clear KPIs and regularly review campaign performance to drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion brand excellence, ensuring consistency across all customer touchpoints.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver shared business goals.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, creativity and high performance.
  • Own and manage marketing budgets, forecasts and investment decisions to maximise return on investment.
  • Analyse marketing performance, customer insights and commercial data to inform future strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation, process improvements and sustainable growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success developing and delivering commercially focused marketing strategies.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing across digital and offline channels.
  • Experience managing sizeable marketing budgets and optimising marketing investment.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with experience influencing at executive level.
  • Strong leadership capability with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to deliver results.
  • Highly organised with exceptional planning, communication and project management skills.
  • A collaborative, proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments.
