Salary – c. £80,000 – £90,000 Benefits – Strong package including LTIP Location – London, UK-based HQ
One of the top SME businesses in the health foods sector is hiring for their Marketing Lead.
This is a business that has exploded onto the scene with massive growth plans in grocery retail, a Founder-led team that is second to none, and a culture up there with the best the industry has to offer.
This is a brand that is as disruptive as they come and is doing so for the betterment of society and the food we eat. They have a brilliant team with fantastic ideas, putting the foundations in place with superb brand building that has created a strong following among consumers and customers.
Now is the time to hire a Marketing leader to maximise ROI and pull all the functions together as they continue to drive growth.
These guys are serious: the products are the best-tasting on the market, and the new product development (NPD) pipeline is incredible. The time has come for the business to upskill and add firepower to their resources, with this role playing a pivotal part in the strategy for years to come and becoming part of the operating board in the following years.
The Role
- Head of Marketing, reporting to the Founder & CEO, covering UK operations.
- Potential progression to CMO within 3–5 years after hitting business objectives.
- Manage a Marketing Team of 4 direct reports.

We require a commercial marketeer to continue growing this brand exponentially in the UK. You will have full control over budgeting, partnerships, and management of creative partners to maximise ROI. Activation is key—this is about hands-on execution, not just strategy, including collaboration with retail partners and continued growth of existing work.
ABL budgets for a business of this size are not vast but significant. This is a social media-driven business, and intelligent, innovative ideas will be essential as they grow in retail distribution. We need a marketer who has tasted SME highs and lows, understands the agility of the business (no day is ever the same, and no idea is too offbeat), and can capture consumer imaginations—educating and converting them.
What We Need
You need:
- Structured big-business and retail marketing experience.
- Brand management background with the ability to take projects from conception to execution.
- Must be a trendsetter with a strong understanding of health and wellness, linked to food and sustainability.
- Absolute buy-in to promoting health-first initiatives for consumers.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Expertise in building external partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
- Essential: background in branded food or beverage marketing.
