Aligned with the launch of our ambitious new organisational strategy, we’re looking for an experienced, strategic and collaborative Head of Marketing & Communications to lead the development and delivery of our marketing and communications activities. This post will help us grow Everyturn’s reach, strengthen our voice, and improve access to support for the people and communities we serve.

This is a senior leadership role with organisation-wide influence. You’ll work closely with trustees, executives, senior leaders, frontline teams, partners and the people we support to develop clear, compelling and impactful communications that build brand awareness, support business development and fundraising opportunities, influence the wider mental health system, and help people find the right support when they need it.

About The Role

As Head of Marketing & Communications, you’ll lead Everyturn’s marketing and communications team and be responsible for developing and delivering plans that support our organisational strategy. You’ll oversee our sales and marketing plan, internal communications programme, brand and tone of voice, multi-channel campaigns, supplier relationships, and project-specific marketing activity across a varied portfolio of services and strategic projects.

You’ll bring together strategic thinking, strong relationship-building, commercial awareness and excellent communication skills. You’ll be confident advising and influencing senior stakeholders, while remaining connected to the experiences of colleagues, partners and the people who use our services.

This is a remote role, but the ideal candidate will be North East based.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship as it does not meet the requirements as set out by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
