Job title: Head of Marketing
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Main function of the job:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive our brand strategy in the healthcare sector.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of healthcare marketing particularly Adult Social Care, including digital strategies, content creation, and market analysis.
This is a hands-on role requiring an individual who has a broad network of contacts to maximise brand awareness opportunities, and someone who has a tenacious approach to successfully strengthen relationships and explore what’s new in the Healthcare Sector, whilst having a good understanding of Care Homes, Occupancy, and Commissioning New Homes
The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing initiatives that align with business goals and resonates with target audiences. Experience with planning, implementing and managing PR activities, being an excellent communicator, and having an established network relating to Care Homes will provide a good start for the successful candidate.

Location: Head Office - Leicestershire
Main Duties (not in any order of priority):
Key Responsibilities:
- Public Relations: Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships within the healthcare sector, seeking opportunities to support our Care Home portfolio
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with Kara Healthcare’s business objectives and enhances brand visibility and market share.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a diverse marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability. Provide guidance on best practices in marketing and ensure professional development opportunities for team members.
- Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the Kara Healthcare brand, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints. Implement brand positioning strategies that differentiate Kara Healthcare in the marketplace.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Utilize insights to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Digital Marketing: Spearhead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, and website optimization. Leverage analytics to measure performance and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Content Strategy: Oversee the creation of high-quality content across multiple platforms, including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and social media. Ensure content is engaging, informative, and aligned with brand messaging.
- Partnerships & Collaborations: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, industry influencers, and strategic partners. Collaborate on joint marketing initiatives to enhance brand reach.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve marketing goals and maximize return on investment.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within the healthcare industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and techniques, including analytics and performance measurement.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven mindset.
- Passion for healthcare and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
