Head of Marketing
What you'll be doing
As Head of Marketing, you'll lead the strategic marketing function for Participation at the UK Parliament, shaping how people across the UK engage with Parliament's public and commercial services. This is a unique opportunity to influence how millions of people connect with UK democracy from the heart of Parliament.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll develop and deliver an ambitious, insight-led marketing strategy, oversee creative multi-channel campaigns, and drive audience growth, engagement, and income. Leading a talented bicameral team, you'll foster a collaborative, high-performing culture while managing budgets, external agencies, and campaign performance to maximise impact and return on investment.
Working closely with senior leaders, Members, and communications colleagues across both Houses, you'll provide strategic marketing expertise, strengthen stakeholder relationships, and help shape Participation's future direction. You'll also champion innovation, oversee marketing during periods of operational change or crisis, and ensure Parliament's brand and messaging are delivered consistently across all channels.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
