Purpose
Manage the day-to-day Marketing operation, owning the campaign plan and ensuring that each channel is effectively tied in, maximising effectiveness in generating quality sales leads for Portman.
Measurement
Generate sales leads for the business that convert into finance agreements, driving the contribution of marketing to Portman’s bottom line.

Responsibilities
- Manage the marketing budget and marketing plan to generate as many high-quality sales leads for the business as possible. Primarily looking after the Portman Finance Group brand but working on other group brands as required by the business.
- Manage the email marketing programme.
- Manage template emails for the sales team.
- Manage the direct mail programme.
- Manage sector marketing, advertising and associated exhibitions.
- Manage digital advertising and PPC campaigns via our agency.
- Manage the effectiveness of the website and app as organic lead generation tools and landing page for campaigns.
- Ensure campaigns are coordinated across channels and implement test and learn strategies.
- Understand the performance of each channel and initiative to report on the effectiveness of the marketing function. Producing data as required using our analytics platform.
- Work with the Head of Brand to produce content in line with the brand guidelines and tone of voice and to direct social media content.
- Work with the Tech Team to evolve the CRM platform where necessary.

Requirements
- 15+ years experience in a business-to-business marketing environment.
- 5+ years experience of managing teams.
- Very commercial and sales focused.
- Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of seniority across the business.
- Experience of working across marketing channels.
- High level of numeracy and data literacy.
- Up to date with current marketing issues, trends, and techniques.
