ThinkMarkets is a global online brokerage firm, specializing in multi-asset trading solutions to thousands of clients around the world. With our flagship ThinkTrader platform, we allow our clients to trade the world 24 hours a day. Our mission is to build an AI-first trading platform by providing access to global markets, advanced trading features and thousands of products across multiple geographies so our clients can trade the world. We use the latest technologies to give traders seamless access to our proprietary trading platforms.
The successful candidate will lead end-to-end marketing for ThinkTrader, driving retail trader acquisition and scalable growth through a hands-on, data-driven approach across performance, marketing technology, customer journeys, audience modelling, and creative generation.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Growth
- Define and execute a global acquisition strategy to scale retail trader growth across paid social, paid search, and programmatic.
- Own performance marketing with clear accountability for CAC, LTV, funnel performance, and return on spend.
- Lead mobile app growth, from acquisition through to in-app engagement and retention.

Customer Journeys, Funnel & Audience Strategy
- Own the full marketing funnel from awareness to funded and active traders, optimising conversion, retention, and lifetime value.
- Develop and refine customer journeys and audience segmentation to improve targeting, personalisation, and campaign effectiveness.
Marketing Technology & Data
- Leverage marketing technology and analytics to drive decision-making, experimentation, and scalable growth.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Google Marketing Platform (GMP) including Google Ads, DV360, Campaign Manager, and Google Analytics.
- Utilise AI tools and automation to enhance performance, efficiency, and campaign execution.
Team Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Build and lead a high-performing, driven marketing team, prioritizing efficiency and leveraging AI tools and automation to maximize output and scalability.
- Act as the senior marketing stakeholder for ThinkTrader platform, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
- Manage and allocate marketing budgets across media and operational matters.

Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience marketing a trading platform or fintech product, or strong knowledge of financial market fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience across performance marketing, growth funnels, attribution, and lifecycle for platforms or mobile apps, with a strong understanding of AI-enabled marketing and agentic workflows.
- A technical foundation is preferred, with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another quantitative discipline, combined with strong marketing expertise.
- Willingness to work hybrid from the Chicago office (approximately 3 days per week in-office).
