Head of Marketing
Chief Revenue Officer (Marketing Operations Lead) – Engineering Intelligence Platform
Company Description
BlueOptima is an engineering intelligence platform trusted by some of the world's largest banks, insurers, and enterprises. We empower CTOs, CIOs, and engineering leaders with objective data to:
- Measure software engineering productivity
- Prove AI ROI
- Reduce delivery risk
We’re at the heart of one of enterprise technology’s most critical conversations: organisations are adopting AI coding tools, but nobody can yet credibly demonstrate their value to boards. BlueOptima provides the answers—and we’re building the commercial engine to bring this message to decision-makers who need it.
Role Overview
Salary & Compensation:
- Base Salary: £80K–£90K
- Bonus: £10K (KPI-focused)
This is a senior, hands-on marketing leadership role reporting directly to the CRO. You will:
- Own the entire marketing function (strategy, budget, campaigns, and marketing-sourced pipeline accountability)
- Cut through bureaucratic layers, make fast decisions with full budget authority
- Lead a content team while partnering with sales, external creatives, and RevOps for cohesive execution
- Not a brand-first role—focussed exclusively on pipeline and revenue generation via qualified discovery meetings.
If you’re looking for agency coordination or decks review, this role isn’t for you. Strategy and execution are your remit.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
