Head of Marketing
Qdrant is an open-source vector search engine powering the next generation of AI applications, from semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to AI agents and real-time recommendations.
Trusted by global leaders like Canva, HubSpot, Tripadvisor, Bosch, and Deutsche Telekom, we’re building the retrieval infrastructure layer for modern AI. Recently raising $50M in Series B funding, we are growing rapidly and committed to transforming how AI understands and interacts with data.
As a remote-first company, we believe diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences fuel innovation. Here, you’ll own meaningful work, tackle challenges, and grow alongside passionate individuals dedicated to shaping the future of AI.
We are looking for a Head of Marketing who will take ownership of Qdrant's marketing function and scale it. This is a very hands-on role and you'll set strategy and run campaigns yourself while you grow the team.
You report directly to the COO. You'll inherit a team of 8 and growing across growth, demand generation, PMM, and design. You'll also partner closely with our Head of DevRel and VP of Sales.
Your focus will be to build programs that amplify the community and respect it, and turn organic adoption into enterprise pipeline. Not market over it.
What You Will Own
- Build and lead the marketing org across demand generation, product marketing, field marketing, growth, and design.
- Own the pipeline number jointly with Sales. Stand up a demand generation engine spanning enterprise campaigns, account-based marketing (ABM), outbound coordination, competitive migrations, and field events.
- Drive product-led growth (PLG) acquisition and conversion. Our open-source adoption is compounding; your job is to turn it into revenue.
- Lead go-to-market for major product launches: positioning, packaging, pricing narrative, competitive framing, and launch execution.
- Build ABM programs targeting enterprise verticals (healthcare, legal, financial services, e-commerce) and competitive migration campaigns against legacy and native alternatives.
- Own content strategy, SEO, generative engine optimization (GEO), and technical product marketing, so Qdrant shows up where developers and enterprise buyers are researching, evaluating, and buying.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who You Are
- 10+ years in B2B marketing with at least 3 years leading a marketing team at a developer tools company through hyper-growth, ideally from Series B to Series C and beyond.
- Deep familiarity with the vector search, retrieval, or broader AI infrastructure space. You don't need to know HNSW indexing on day one, but you should be able to read our docs in a weekend and hold your own in a technical conversation with our engineering team by Monday.
- Proven track record building both enterprise/ABM demand gen and PLG growth motions, not just one or the other. You can review a technical blog post and make it better.
- Strong background in technical product marketing. You can own positioning, competitive narratives, and sales enablement for deeply technical products without leaning on engineering to translate.
- Hands-on operator. You'll write copy, build campaigns, brief analysts, and pull Salesforce reports yourself before you have a team to delegate to.
- Experience leveraging AI-driven marketing workflows and automation tools (e.g., Clay, n8n, Claud Cowork) to scale outreach, enrichment, and campaign execution, while staying close to the product and audience.
- Low ego, high ownership. You move fast, are comfortable in navigating ambiguity, and can operate in a remote & async organization.
