Head of Marketing

The Head of Marketing is the link that connects our marketing teams and turns separate activity into joined-up, multichannel campaigns, which drive revenue and attendance.

Reporting to the CMO, you’ll work across our three marketing teams; Automation, Brand & Content and Design and play a business partner role with our event and business teams.

Your job is to shape integrated campaign plans, then work with each team to deliver them on time and to best practice. This is a hands-on leadership role. We’re looking for a marketing expert who brings best practice and fresh thinking, but who also rolls up their sleeves to make campaigns happen and takes ownership of the results. Throughout, you’ll keep the customer at the centre of every plan, activity and outcome.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build integrated, multichannel campaign plans, across email, social, web and paid, that bring each brand, product and event together into one clear story for our audiences.
  • Connect our Automation, Brand & Content and Design teams around shared plans, so everyone is clear on what’s needed, by when, and to what standard.
  • Partner with the event teams to align marketing activity with each event’s goals and key milestones.
  • Drive delivery end to end; keeping campaigns on track, removing blockers, and stepping in hands-on where needed to hit deadlines and quality.
  • Own the numbers; track performance against KPIs such as registrations, MQLs and MQL-to-SQL conversion, and adjust activity to improve results.
  • Raise the bar; bring marketing best practice into the teams, introduce better ways of working, and share what works across brands to standardise the approach.
  • Oversee the partnerships that support our events and brands, including media partners, associations, affiliates and speaker advocacy.
  • Work with the Sales team so that campaigns support commercial goals and convert leads effectively.
  • You will also be required to attend our events in the UK and overseas.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
