We are recruiting for a Head of New Truck Sales (Central Region) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. In this pivotal leadership role, you will drive performance, strengthen customer relationships, and play a key part in delivering our national sales ambitions.
In This Role You Will
- Lead and motivate Territory Sales Managers and their teams to achieve agreed target commitments.
- Leverage and promote the Direct Sales Concept as a USP and commercial advantage.
- Work seamlessly and alongside our Order Management function and ensure one team culture and drive the ‘right first time’ requirements for all process input.
- Ensure high-quality dealer interface and cooperation.
- Drive the implementation of SALESMAN as a management tool and ensure compliant use in order to effectively manage the sales funnel.
- Ensure demonstrator resource and policy is managed with full compliance and within budget.
- Drive customer satisfaction (CXi) results to defined improved level.
- Engage with all stakeholders and within other business functions, fostering positive relationships and ensure regular communication with all stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate training and development plans are delivered for your team.
- Be the interface with ‘big ticket’ key customers, to support the sales effort and win business.
- Develop marketing plans with each sales area in line with UK strategy and ensure execution in conjunction with the marketing department.
- Reduce throughput time of all new vehicles from point of arrival in the UK to handover with the customer according to business KPI’s.
- Implement a standard and fully compliant way of working and ensure fully co-operative working teams throughout the business area.

To Be Successful In This Role You'll Have
- In-depth knowledge of the Commercial Vehicle industry with a focus on providing solutions for customer needs.
- An entrepreneurial mind, be a self-starter that is self-motivated and a change advocate.
- A high degree of leadership competence as well as strong interpersonal competence.
