At Aon, we’re hiring for a Head of Office to lead our Corporate Risk team in Leeds.
This is a hybrid role, combining office-based work at Aon’s Leeds Embankment location with the flexibility of remote working.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Drive the regional and national strategy for your office, collaborating closely with the Regional Director to refine and develop it further
- Develop and execute the branch business plan, ensuring consistent growth, performance, and profitability
- Act as Aon’s regional face, reinforcing our brand and positioning the company as the broker of choice
Commercial Performance & Profitability
- Drive revenue performance through forecasting, client profitability insights, and growth projection
- Ensure the continuous identification and management of business risks
- Deliver consistent client management, account planning, and service standards across all teams
- Maintain robust relationships with insurers and internal stakeholders (e.g., Claims, Trade Credit, Premium Finance, Operations)
- Ensure accurate invoicing, governance compliance, and regulatory adherence

Client Growth & Retention
- Lead organic growth strategies, overseeing key client retention programs
- Partner with the Sales team to secure new business and build profitable growth opportunities
- Expand the range of Aon’s offerings to clients, including Risk, Claims, and specialist solutions
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the branch leadership team, fostering a high-performance culture
- Build a clear talent pipeline with structured succession planning for key roles
- Cultivate an inclusive, collaborative, and motivated workplace aligned with Aon’s values
Business Contribution & Networking
- Support broader initiatives related to Commercial Insurance
- Share best practices to standardise delivery across the region
- Enhance Aon’s local presence through networking, events, and engagement with the market
Compliance & Continuous Improvement
- Promote a strong compliance culture, including regulatory adherence and process consistency
- Set a clear benchmark through proactive leadership and process optimisation

Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven operations leadership in corporate risk, commercial insurance, or a related field
- Exceptional strategic thinker, with a track record of tackling complex challenges and delivering results
- A results-driven mindset, with a strong balance of client focus, commercial acumen, and people leadership
- Relationship-building with clients, from mid-market to large corporates, ensuring retention and growth
- Experience in fee setting, client negotiations, and growth strategies
- A commitment to high ethical standards and business integrity
- Technically strong in insurance principles and risk management frameworks
- Preference for candidates with ACII qualification (or equivalent)
