Pinnacle Group are looking for an experienced Head of Operational Finance to lead our client accounting, service charge accounting and banking administration function in our Homes Finance team through an exciting period of transformation, ensuring the delivery of accurate, efficient and customer-focused financial services to our clients and end customers.

Our Homes Division delivers trusted housing management services across Affordable, Private Rented and Leasehold properties. We work with local authorities, registered providers and investors to support thriving communities.

This is a highly visible leadership role, responsible for driving operational excellence across client accounting, service charge accounting and banking administration. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping processes, developing talent and embedding a culture of continuous improvement, while ensuring robust financial governance and outstanding service delivery. You'll work closely with operational leaders, senior stakeholders and external clients, providing insight, reporting and strategic support that helps drive performance and strengthens client relationships.

We're seeking a qualified accountant with strong leadership credentials, within the housing, property or public sector, with a strong understanding of housing finance including service charge accounting. You'll combine technical expertise with commercial awareness, bringing the ability to influence stakeholders, navigate change and inspire teams to deliver best-in-class outcomes. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy balancing strategic leadership with hands-on operational management, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a hybrid role with travel into central London at least 2 days a week. The role is paying between £85-95k per annum with a performance related bonus of up to 15%.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
