The Role
We're looking for an exceptional Head of Operations to lead the operational delivery of Cornerstone's bespoke network programmes. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping and executing operational strategy, driving delivery excellence, and ensuring outstanding outcomes for our shareholders and customers.
Reporting into senior leadership, you'll oversee complex, multi-million-pound operational portfolios, leading high-performing teams and trusted delivery partners to achieve ambitious business objectives. You'll combine strategic vision with operational rigour, creating the capability, culture and performance required to support the UK's ever-evolving digital infrastructure landscape.

What You'll Do ✨
- Define and execute Cornerstone's operational strategy, aligning delivery with business and shareholder objectives.
- Lead large-scale operational and network delivery programmes, balancing performance, risk, resources and commercial outcomes.
- Own the successful delivery of multi-million-pound portfolios, ensuring robust financial management and operational governance.
- Act as a senior leader and trusted partner to shareholders, customers and executive stakeholders.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, process optimisation and data-led decision making.
- Lead and inspire matrix, multifunctional and remote teams, building a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
- Champion transformation initiatives that enhance customer experience, operational efficiency and organisational effectiveness.
- Establish clear performance frameworks, reporting and governance to provide visibility of delivery health, opportunities and risks.
- Foster a strong culture of safety, compliance, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion.
- Develop future operational capability, ensuring the business is equipped to meet evolving customer and market demands.

What You'll Bring 🚀
- Significant senior leadership experience within telecommunications, infrastructure, technology or similarly complex operational environments.
- A proven track record of delivering strategic outcomes through large-scale operational functions.
- Extensive experience leading complex programmes and navigating fast-paced, constantly evolving business environments.
- Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing significant budgets, P&L accountability and supplier performance.
- Demonstrated success leading organisational transformation, business change and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and engage at Executive, Board and Shareholder level.
- Experience leading matrix and cross-functional teams, developing talent and creating high-performing cultures.
- Strong understanding of governance, operational risk management and delivery assurance.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of providing clear insight, direction and confidence during complex challenges.
- A relentless focus on results, with the drive to deliver excellence for customers, shareholders and colleagues alike.
