💷 Compensation: Up to £75k + Bonus + Share Options 🚆 Work Arrangement: Hybrid – London Based (Victoria Station) & Remote (1–2 days per week)

About the Role

As Head of Operations (QSR Division), you’ll architect and scale operational excellence across our fast-growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) brands.

With 20 franchise sites currently (planning to double within the next year), your role will include:

  • Managing multiple brands, including SoBe Burger, Ivan Ramen, and Mikos and scaling them with rapid growth.
  • Ensuring seamless execution and uncompromising guest satisfaction.
  • Establishing financial stability while balancing agility with continuous improvement.

It’s a high-impact leadership position, needing a strategic tactician with financial acumen and people management expertise. You'll lead a lean team of one Operations Manager—envisioning scalable systems that steer peak performance (revenue, ops, CX) while navigating expansion challenges.

Success Criteria:

  • Develop & execute an all-encompassing operational strategy aligning financial targets, brand compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Position Sessions as the premier and measurable best-performer in QSR innovation.

Responsibilities

Strategic Franchise Operations:

  • Create and own: A robust multi-site franchise compliance and operational strategy, backed by data-driven insights (performance metrics, mystery shopper results, brand audits).
  • Optimise efficiency across all franchise networks with an eye on cost savings and operational consistency.

Financial & Franchise P&L Management:

  • Set and enforce bold data-backed targets across franchise operations (including labour benchmarks, food waste/yield, service speed, guest satisfaction ratings).
  • Partner with franchisees to maximise site EBITDA, aligning corporate success and brand health via royalty streams.
  • Support efficient expansions in real-time, refining strategies from existing partnerships and issued challenges.

Cross-functional Alignment & Compliance:

  • Steerve collaborations with Brand, Culinary, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure lightning-fast rollouts.
  • Simulate seamless brand compliance kicks-off by franchisees.
  • Intervene proactively to shut down operational bottlenecks.
  • Franchise Support

Enhancing Franchise Partner Value:

  • Direct franchise business owners in operational excellence, maximising lifetime value and keeping systems revenue-positive.
  • Proactively recover underperforming partners via tailored interventions.

Team Empowerment & Culture:

  • Mentor lead your team (Operations Manager & Training Manager) to empower influence through coaching.
  • Create a high-performing operation culture.
  • Lead accountability without authority.
  • Deliver courageous conversations where required.

Profitability & Supply Chain Optimization:

  • Optimise margins collaboratively with Supply Chain & Finance, curbing inflation while adding value.
  • Ensure franchise supplier alignment across brand standards—central procurement advantages to counter ingredient costs.

International Growth & Localisation:

  • Guide global expansion operations, partnering with international franchisees for local adherence to brand standards.

Executive Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Deliver quarterly reviews on franchise network health, highlighting compliance risks and corrective actions to the Managing Director and Executive Leadership.

Requirements

🔹 Leadership:

  • Proven senior leadership in hospitality or operations—preferably scaling customer-facing and logistics networks.

🔹 Franchise Expertise

  • Bonuses: Direct prior franchisor experience, a strong grasp of royalty models.
  • Direct requirement: Influence without "bossing" by aligning stakeholders across complex independent relationships.

🔹 International Expansion

  • Experience scaling brands worldwide.

🔹 Strategic Financial Accountability

  • Deep commercial expertise with multi-unit networks (maximise EBITDA).
