About the Role
As the Head of Operations for our fast-growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) division, you’ll be the chiefs architect of operational excellence. This role involves:
- Dramatically growing our QSR estate from 20 sites to 40+ within a year.
- Driving profitability, efficiency, and brand standards across live brands (e.g., SoBe Burger, Ivan Ramen, Mikos) and future concepts.
- Steering a lean corporate team (starting with collaborative oversight of 1 Operations Manager) to design and scale high-performance systems amid rapid growth.
Success is measured by:
📈 Financial targets and operational performance. 🛠️ Brand compliance (audit-ready standards across sites). 🌱 A culture of continuous improvement, ensuring Sessions QSR brands are UK leadership benchmarks.

Responsibilities
Operationally Driven Commitments:

Franchise Operations Strategy:
- Develop and execute multi-site performance strategies (tagged metrics: mystery shopper reviews, brand audits, and contract compliance).
- Prioritise efficiency gains, cost savings, and operational consistency across all multi-brand operators.

Performance & Financial Accountability:
- Set and monitor labour cost benchmarks, food waste/yield ratios, speed of service, and guest satisfaction.
- Maximise site EBITDA, ensuring strong franchisehouse fit and evolving expanded platforms with chain-wide adjustments.

Cross Functional Leadership & Compliance:
- Act as Executive Sponsor liaising with Brand, Culinary, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure execution for operational success.
- Proactively resolve bottlenecks to ensure "first-attempt perfection".

Franchise Partner Value & Retention:
- Coach and support franchise owners under performance, maximising lifetime value.
- Develop interventions for flagging trends, reducing partner turnover.

Team Leadership & Capability Building:
- Mentor and manage Operations Manager & QSR Training Manager, fostering high-performance culture while maintaining strong franchisee accountability.

Cost Protection & Strategic Works:
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and finance to manage inflation and labor scheduling, securing margins.

Internationalisation & Localisation:
- Oversee global knitting, partnering with international master franchisors for adapted field manuals, local logistics, regulation, and tailoring outcomes.

Regular Reporting & Forecasting:
- Cross-external DNS for monthly/quarterly performance and brand compliance reviews, forecasting operational health and risks.

Proven Expertise for Leadership in High Growth
