Role Description

The Head of Operations Maintenance is a full-time role responsible for leading and overseeing maintenance operations across Airwaves Group’s UK property portfolio. Based in Meriden in a hybrid capacity, the role combines on-site leadership with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

The Head of Operations Maintenance will be expected to:

  • Drive continuous improvement
  • Maintain strong customer service standards
  • Support strategic decision-making for the facilities management function

Qualifications

  • Strong operations management skills, with experience overseeing maintenance or facilities services.
  • Analytical skills to interpret performance data, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Proven team management capabilities, including leading multi-disciplinary teams and supporting staff development.
  • Clear and effective communication skills for engaging with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Budgeting and resource allocation skills to manage costs, plan forecasts, and optimise operational efficiency.
  • Experience in property maintenance, facilities management, or related sectors within the UK market.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing on-site presence in Meriden with remote work.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in operations, facilities management, or engineering are advantageous.
