Head of Operations, Technology & Finance (Contract – Outside IR35)
London (Mayfair) | 6-Month Initial Term | Immediate Start
A boutique private credit manager is undergoing transformational growth and now requires an experienced interim operations leader.
This high-impact, multidisciplinary role sits at the heart of the business, reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll oversee investment operations, lead finance oversight, and manage technology and vendor strategies—ushering in process improvements and driving strategic growth.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead a team of three in investment operations, fostering efficiency and process enhancement.
- Overhaul and refine the operating model, including assessing outsourcing opportunities.
- Act as a technology steward, managing outsourced IT providers and shaping long-term tech strategy.
- Ensure finance function strength, guaranteeing accurate and strategic reporting.
- Serve as the senior escalation point for operations, vendors, and major projects.
- Assist in broader COO initiatives, including navigating a relocation transition.

Ideal Candidate Profile
- A senior operations leader with proven experience in private markets, private credit, or alternatives.
- Strong expertise in small-to-medium-sized asset managers.
- Deep knowledge of vendor management and outsourcing models.
- Comfortable managing operations, technology oversight, and finance seamlessly.
- Commercial, adaptable, and hands-on—prepared to influence senior stakeholders.
- Naturally collaborative yet capable of hit driving major operational shifts.
