Job Description

Provide strategic operational leadership by overseeing site performance and delivering against service, cost, quality, safety, and business growth objectives while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

  • Lead end-to-end warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory, fulfilment, inbound/outbound processes, multi-channel distribution, and KPI performance to maximise efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage logistics partners and carrier relationships, overseeing 3PL providers, transportation suppliers, contract performance, commercial negotiations, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and inspire high-performing teams by leading, coaching, and engaging colleagues, building succession plans, and promoting a collaborative, customer-focused, and safety-first culture.
  • Drive operational excellence and compliance through Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, data-driven decision-making, continuous improvement initiatives, and full adherence to health, safety, legal, and regulatory standards.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading operations with full responsibility for site performance in a distribution, logistics, retail, or eCommerce environment.
  • Strong background in warehouse and logistics management, including managing 3PL providers and parcel and freight carriers.
  • Commercially aware, with experience managing operational budgets, leading supplier tenders, and negotiating contracts.
  • Experienced in leading and developing large teams, creating a positive culture while improving performance and engagement.
  • Strong communicator with a track record of delivering operational improvements and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
