Head of Origination, Corporate Finance
The Opportunity
We're working on behalf of a growing, entrepreneurial Corporate Finance advisory firm that is looking to appoint a Head of Origination to support the next phase of its growth.
This is a senior, high-profile appointment with responsibility for generating new business opportunities across the firm's M&A, Transaction Services and Debt Advisory practices. Working closely with the Partners, you will be instrumental in developing relationships with private equity investors, corporates, lenders, legal firms and other deal introducers, creating a consistent pipeline of high-quality mandates.
This role offers the opportunity to join an ambitious, collaborative business with significant growth plans and genuine influence over its future direction.
The Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the firm's origination strategy across M&A, Transaction Services and Debt Advisory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with private equity houses, corporates, banks, debt funds, lawyers, accountants and other professional introducers.
- Identify, qualify and convert new business opportunities into advisory mandates.
- Work alongside Partners and Directors to develop client relationships and win new engagements.
- Represent the firm at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospective opportunities and provide regular reporting on business development activity.
- Contribute to marketing initiatives, thought leadership and the firm's wider growth strategy.
- Act as a brand ambassador within the UK mid-market deal community.

About You
We're interested in speaking with professionals who have:
- A strong track record of originating Corporate Finance opportunities.
- An established network within the UK mid-market deal community.
- Experience within Corporate Finance, M&A Advisory, Transaction Services, Debt Advisory or a related professional services environment.
- Strong commercial awareness and excellent relationship-building skills.
- A consultative approach with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ambition to help grow a successful advisory business.
