Role Overview

As the Head of Paid Acquisition, you’ll be the primary driver of profitable growth across a portfolio of brands. This high-impact leadership role demands mastery of Meta Paid Media to:

  • Lower acquisition costs
  • Increase scaling efficiency
  • Build creative testing systems for predictable revenue growth

You’ll bridge media buying and creative strategy, working closely with the CEO and Director of Operations to transform paid social into a revenue powerhouse. If you’re a performance-obsessed strategist who thrives on high ownership, scaling high-spend accounts, and owning the end-to-end funnel, this role is for you.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Execution

  • Own and execute end-to-end Meta paid acquisition strategy, from campaign setup to aggressive scaling.
  • Lead creative strategy, including:
    • Developing briefs for designers
    • Direct-response feedback on hooks, angles, and messaging
    • Performance analysis of campaigns
  • Daily account monitoring, adjusting budgets and structures to maximise efficiency.

System Building & Scaling

  • Develop scalable systems for:
    • Creative testing
    • Performance reporting
    • Conversion funnel optimisation
  • Construct high-converting landing pages, advertorials, and PDPs that align with active campaigns.

Data-Driven Performance & Metrics

  • Track and report on critical KPIs:
    • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
    • Cost Per Acquisition (CPA)
    • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)
    • Marginal Efficiency Ratio (MER)
    • Click-Through Rates (CTR) and Conversion Rates (CVR)
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership for long-term strategy.

Competitive & Strategic Growth

  • Conduct competitor research and lead client strategy calls to ensure brand stability and growth.
  • Collaborate with video editing and design teams to increase testing velocity and identify high-performing creative assets.

Leadership & Communication

  • Mentor junior team members (where applicable) and scale media buying expertise.
  • Lead client audits and internal strategy sessions.

Requirements

Essential:

✅ 5+ years of performance marketing experience, with a deep specialisation in Meta Ads Manager. ✅ Proven track record of scaling high-spend accounts (3-digit+ monthly budgets) in e-commerce or DTC. ✅ Mastery of direct-response metrics (CAC, ROAS, MER, LTV) and attribution tools (Triple Whale, Northbeam, Hyros). ✅ Advanced creative strategy skills, including ability to write high-converting ad copy. ✅ Proven AI literacy, with ability to leverage emerging tools for efficiency gains. ✅ Analytical mindset with agile decision-making to solve funnel bottlenecks. ✅ Performance-driven personality—self-motivated, owner-leader mentality, and compensation aligned to KPIs. ✅ Availability during core business hours (up to 4 PM EST).

Nice-to-Haves:

🔹 Meta Blueprint Certification. 🔹 Experience in an agency or multi-brand environment. 🔹 Knowledge of CRO and advanced landing page optimisation. 🔹 Previous mentoring or team leadership in media buying. 🔹 Background in UGC (User-Generated Content) sourcing/management.
