About the Role

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Partnerships based in United Kingdom.

This is a senior leadership opportunity to build and scale a strategic partnerships function from the ground up.

You will own relationships with key technology and ecosystem partners, helping shape long-term growth opportunities.

The role combines strategic relationship management, business development, and operational execution.

You will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to create impactful partner programs.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in high-ownership environments and enjoys building new processes.

You will have the opportunity to influence partnerships strategy and drive measurable business impact.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing a scalable partnerships strategy, strengthening key ecosystem relationships, and turning partnerships into meaningful business outcomes.
  • Working across leadership and field teams to create alignment, identify opportunities, and build repeatable partnership motions.
  • Owning and expanding strategic relationships with key technology and go-to-market partners, particularly within AI platforms and data infrastructure ecosystems.
  • Building strong relationships across multiple levels, from sales representatives and technical teams to executive stakeholders.
  • Designing and executing co-selling and co-marketing initiatives that generate measurable pipeline and revenue opportunities.
  • Representing the organization in strategic partner discussions, identifying areas for collaboration, resolving challenges, and creating mutual value.
  • Establishing partnership frameworks, processes, reporting structures, and operating cadences to create a scalable partnerships function.
  • Identifying and evaluating new partnership opportunities aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Serving as the internal advocate for partners by sharing market insights, partner priorities, and ecosystem developments with sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to support integrations, strategic initiatives, and long-term partner success.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an experienced partnerships professional with a strong track record of building relationships, creating programs, and driving commercial outcomes in fast-growing technology environments.

  • 8+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, strategic alliances, or a related go-to-market role.
  • Proven experience owning partner relationships end-to-end and delivering measurable business impact.
  • Previous experience building a partnerships function from scratch within a startup or scaling technology company.
  • Ability to operate effectively across different stakeholder levels, from individual contributors to executive leadership.
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience converting partnerships into pipeline, revenue, and business growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business audiences.
  • Strong ownership mindset, adaptability, and comfort experimenting in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience within AI, data platforms, developer tools, open-source, or data infrastructure ecosystems is highly valued.
