Head of Partnerships – TiPJAR

The Role
We’re looking for a commercially driven Head of Partnerships to design and scale a high-impact partnerships function that fuels revenue growth and widens distribution across key markets. This senior, hands-on position combines strategic partnerships oversight with direct commercial accountability, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer. You’ll shape TiPJAR’s go-to-market strategy, partner ecosystem, and long-term growth.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Partnerships & Revenue Delivery
- Own the end-to-end pipeline and revenue sourced or influenced by partners, ensuring target attainment.
- Identify, secure, and scale strategic partnerships with:
- Payments providers and acquirers
- EPoS, workforce management, accountancy, and payroll systems
- Resellers, consultants, and industry associations
- Construct and manage a quality partner pipeline through targeted channels.
- Lead commercial discussions on pricing, revenue sharing, and distribution agreements.
- Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, clearly articulating TiPJAR’s commercial value proposition.
Partner Strategy & Go-to-Market
- Define and execute a clear-partnerships strategy aligned with Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and revenue targets.
- Develop customised go-to-market approaches by partner category.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing for pipeline alignment and conversion strategies.
- Identify new market routes and scale opportunities for TiPJAR.

Partner Activation & Performance
- Transition from signed agreements to real output and delivery.
- Build structured partner onboarding/activation frameworks for long-term success.
- Monitor and assess partner performance against revenue contributions and agreed targets.
- Hold partners accountable for their impact on the pipeline.
Partnerships Leadership & Team Development
- Hire and develop a high-performing partnerships team, scaling operations as TiPJAR grows.
- Establish clear expectations around activity, performance, and outcomes.
- Foster a culture of accountability, autonomy, and continuous improvement.
- Design KPIs, reporting, and dashboards to track partnerships effectiveness.
- Cross-functional collaboration with:
- Sales (pipeline/conversion)
- Marketing (co-marketing & demand gen)
- Product (integration priorities)
- Customer Success (delivery & retention).
Feed structured partner and market insights back into the business for strategic alignment.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in building and scaling B2B partnerships (SaaS, fintech, hospitality tech focus).
- Strong commercial DNA with ownership of revenue targets.
- Experience negotiating complex agreements (revenue share, distribution, channel deals).
- Ability to blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- Familiarity with platform ecosystems (payments, POS, integrations).
- Excellent negotiator with sharp stakeholder management and communication.
- Comfortable in high-energy scale-up environments.
- Outcome-driven: prioritises results over pitfalls.
- Pragmatic, structured, data-led, yet hands-on.
- Experience founding, expanding, and scaling a partnership function.
- Confident collaborating with internal/external stakeholders.
