📍 London, UK Reporting to: Group CFO 4+ days office-based with International Travel

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced people professional ready to build and scale a global HR function at pace.

Reporting to the Group CFO, you'll develop and deliver Elect's people strategy — covering:

  • Organisational design
  • Performance culture
  • Learning and development
  • Employee engagement
  • HR operations — across multiple international jurisdictions.

Key Partnerships:

  • Work closely with senior leaders to build high-performing teams
  • Develop managers and ensure consistent, effective people practices globally
  • Support new office launches as the business continues to expand internationally

Location: Based in London, with regular international travel (approximately two visits per year to Georgia, Cyprus, Australia, Canada and the UAE).


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver Elect's global people strategy aligned to company growth

  • Partner with senior leadership on:

    • Organisational design
    • Workforce planning
    • Team structure
  • Build and embed a high-performance culture through:

    • Clear objectives
    • Regular feedback
    • Consistent performance management
  • Coach managers and develop leadership capability across the business

  • Design and implement learning and development programmes supporting:

    • Career progression
    • Organisational capability
  • Lead and develop the Group’s people function, covering:

    • Recruitment
    • Onboarding
    • Development
    • Employee experience
  • Establish and embed HR processes, policies and standards across international jurisdictions

  • Ensure compliance with:

    • Employment legislation
    • HR best practice in all operating markets
  • Collaborate with local advisors where necessary

  • Drive improvements in:

    • HR systems
    • Data
    • Operational efficiency
  • Lead employee engagement initiatives and leverage insights to enhance experience

  • Support change management as the business scales

  • Build strong relationships across the Group through regular international travel


What We’re Looking For

Experience & Leadership

  • 7+ years in HR, People or Talent leadership
  • Experience building/lleading People functions in high-growth businesses
  • Knowledge of:
    • Performance management
    • Organisational design
    • Leadership development

International & Legal Expertise

  • Experience supporting international businesses across multiple jurisdictions
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law; experience across international frameworks desirable

Skills & Mindset

  • Confident balancing strategic projects with operational delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to influence senior leaders
  • Commercial mindset aligning people initiatives to business objectives

Operational & Travel Requirements

  • Experience improving HR processes, systems and operational efficiency
  • Willingness to travel internationally regularly
  • CIPD qualification desirable but not essential
