Senior Strategic Leadership Role
A senior strategic leadership role responsible for driving organisational performance, transformation, and delivery at scale. The post holder will work as a key member of the senior leadership team, directly supporting the Chief Operating Officer to deliver sustained improvement in operational, clinical, and financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide executive-level leadership across performance management, corporate delivery, and transformation programmes.
- Be accountable for establishing a high-performance culture, leading complex improvement programmes, and ensuring delivery against national standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational priorities.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, influencing at Board and system level, and shaping organisational strategy through the use of insight, analysis, and innovation.

Key Duties
- Act as a senior organisational leader, contributing to corporate strategy, decision making, and governance.
- Provide expert advice and leadership on performance, delivery, and improvement at Board level.
- Shape and deliver long-term organisational performance delivery strategy aligned to national priorities.
- Lead organisational response to regulatory requirements and external assurance processes.
