Interim Head of Performance | PE-backed live entertainment business | London (hybrid) | 6-Month Contract
A PE-backed live entertainment business is looking for an Interim Head of Performance to take ownership of paid digital ticket sales across a multi-market portfolio. Reporting to the Group Marketing Director, you'll own CAC, yield protection and pacing across the portfolio, working in close partnership with market ticketing and Marketing Directors to plan, allocate and dynamically optimise performance spend. You'll also lead the move toward an agentic, decisioning-led performance model designed to compound efficiency across every market.
This is a 6-month interim engagement with real scope to make an impact quickly.
What you'll own:-
Platform excellence - Set and evolve group-wide best practice for account structure, campaign architecture, bidding and audience strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, Snap, Reddit and emerging channels The decisioning layer - Co-own the development of a portfolio-level AI orchestration layer that routes budget, audience signals and channel decisions intelligently across paid and owned media, with proper agentic governance in place Performance planning – Lead the annual, seasonal and monthly planning process for each event, integrating performance spend with the wider marketing and ticketing strategy, and make the commercial case for a greater share of budget going to digital CAC and yield – Own group-wide CAC targets by event and territory, hold the line on ceilings under pressure, and actively reallocate spend to protect yield and clear lagging inventory. Measurement and incrementality – Own the group measurement framework: multi-touch attribution, incrementality testing, geo-lift experiments and MMM input. Be the internal authority on true performance vs. platform-attributed performance Team leadership – Lead and develop Market Performance Managers across the UK and Europe to build a transparent, data-led, high-performance culture

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
