About the Role

We are working with a specialist asset manager, with a long track record of performance, that is looking to hire a Head of Performance and Data Management to join its fast-growing team in London. The role will be central to ensuring the integrity, governance, and strategic use of investment performance, pricing, and reference data across the firm, while leading the automation and modernisation of the function through data platforms, work transformation, and AI-enabled solutions. This individual will also manage, guide, and mentor team members within the lean pricing and performance data team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Performance, Pricing & Data function, ensuring accurate and timely delivery across the business.
  • Own the quality, governance, and integrity of investment performance, pricing, and reference data.
  • Drive automation, AI adoption, and the development of a scalable, centralised data platform.
  • Oversee performance analytics, attribution, and pricing processes across multiple asset classes.
  • Partner with stakeholders across Investments, Risk, Finance, and Distribution while developing a high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Min. 8 years’ experience across investment performance, pricing, and data management within asset management.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to develop teams and deliver in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong track record of data transformation, automation, and operational improvement initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of performance measurement, attribution, and GIPS standards.
  • Experience with investment systems, data platforms, and reporting tools (e.g. SimCorp, Power BI, Tableau), with knowledge of AI-enabled solutions desirable.
