Head of Permanent Recruitment – Technology

London | Hybrid (3 days in office)
Base up to £80,000 + Uncapped Commission + Team Override

A well-known, high-performing technology recruitment agency is hiring a Head of Permanent Recruitment to lead, grow and scale a high-value perm division.

This is a player-manager role: you will run and grow a team of 5 billing managers from day one, while still billing, winning new business, and owning key strategic accounts yourself.

You’ll be inheriting significant existing accounts, strong brand presence, and a platform built for scale.

The Role

  • Lead, manage and grow a team of 5 experienced billing managers
  • Personally bill and win new business at a senior / enterprise level
  • Own and expand key strategic client accounts
  • Hire and scale the team further (headcount growth is part of the mandate)
  • Set standards around delivery, quality, and commercial performance
  • Drive revenue, margin, and market penetration across the perm division
  • Work closely with senior leadership on strategy, growth, and market expansion

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
