Head of Permanent Recruitment – Technology
London | Hybrid (3 days in office)
Base up to £80,000 + Uncapped Commission + Team Override
A well-known, high-performing technology recruitment agency is hiring a Head of Permanent Recruitment to lead, grow and scale a high-value perm division.
This is a player-manager role: you will run and grow a team of 5 billing managers from day one, while still billing, winning new business, and owning key strategic accounts yourself.
You’ll be inheriting significant existing accounts, strong brand presence, and a platform built for scale.
The Role
- Lead, manage and grow a team of 5 experienced billing managers
- Personally bill and win new business at a senior / enterprise level
- Own and expand key strategic client accounts
- Hire and scale the team further (headcount growth is part of the mandate)
- Set standards around delivery, quality, and commercial performance
- Drive revenue, margin, and market penetration across the perm division
- Work closely with senior leadership on strategy, growth, and market expansion

What You’ll Be Walking Into
- Established, well-known brand in the technology recruitment market
- Large, warm, high-value accounts to leverage immediately
- Existing performing team with clear headroom to scale
- Full support from leadership, marketing, and delivery infrastructure
- Genuine autonomy to build a proper business unit
The Profile
- Currently an Associate Director / Business Unit Lead / Team Lead in tech recruitment
- A strong biller who still enjoys being on the desk
- Experienced in leading and scaling teams
- Commercially sharp, credible with senior stakeholders and enterprise clients
- Comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on level
- Motivated by building something substantial and owning a P&L-style mandate

Package
- Base salary up to £80,000
- Uncapped personal commission
- Team override / management bonus
