Head of Pilates

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Pilates leader

This role combines exceptional coaching with leadership, education, programme development, and commercial responsibility, ensuring an industry-leading member experience.

The Company:

Our client is a premium health and wellness business renowned for delivering world-class fitness experiences, outstanding service, and an inspiring environment for both members and employees. With a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and continuous development, the business continues to set new standards in the luxury fitness sector.

The Basics:

  • Salary: 20,000 SR per month (equivalent to ~4,000 GPB)
  • Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Hours: Full-time (20 coaching hours per week across mat and reformer + admin/leadership responsibilities)
  • Relocation package: month 1 accommodation, flights, and visa covered

This is a chance to influence the future of Pilates within a growing luxury fitness brand. The successful candidate will lead instructor development, innovate programming, enhance service standards, and drive the commercial success of both group classes and private Pilates sessions, working closely with senior leadership to deliver an exceptional member journey.

The Role:

Leadership & Education:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Pilates instructors, creating a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver regular education, workshops, and coaching to ensure consistent teaching standards across all locations.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Pilates methodology, programming, and best practice.

Programming + Member Experience:

  • Develop and evolve the Pilates programme, introducing innovative concepts that drive engagement and retention.
  • Design class schedules based on attendance data, member feedback, and business objectives.
  • Maintain exceptional standards across all Pilates classes and private sessions through regular quality reviews and instructor feedback.

Commercial Performance:

  • Drive the performance of the private Pilates business, maximising utilisation, client retention, and revenue.
  • Identify opportunities to grow participation through effective scheduling, programming, and member engagement.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and provide regular insights and recommendations to senior leadership.

Operations:

  • Support the day-to-day operation of the Pilates function, including scheduling, education planning, and departmental initiatives.
  • Ensure studios and equipment are maintained to the highest standards, with full compliance to health and safety procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to promote Pilates programmes and support wider business objectives.
  • Deliver up to 25 hours per week of classes and private sessions alongside leadership and administrative responsibilities.

The Person:

  • Certified Pilates instructor (Polestar, BASI, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of seven years' professional Pilates instruction experience.
  • Previous experience within a luxury health club or private members' club environment.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire instructors.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience driving revenue and member retention.
  • Excellent understanding of contemporary Pilates practices, programming, and industry trends.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional member experiences.
  • Highly organised with excellent planning and communication skills.
  • Confident using data and feedback to improve performance and programme delivery.
  • CPR and First Aid qualified.
  • Fluent in English with excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
