Head of Primary Care Recruitment / Director of Primary Care
Location: Central London Salary: Competitive base salary + outstanding commission structure
Our client, an established and growing healthcare recruitment business, is seeking an experienced Head of Primary Care / Director to lead their Primary Care division and grow it nationally. You will take charge of an established client base, working with experienced consultants, an active pipeline, and robust support teams across infrastructure, compliance, and delivery.

- Take full commercial ownership of the Primary Care division, including P&L responsibility
- Oversee permanent and temporary recruitment across NHS and private providers
- Drive new business acquisition and account growth
- Mentor consultants as the division expands, with a clear path to Director-level progression
The division recruits across diverse Primary Care markets, including:
- General Practice
- ADHD Services
- Urgent Care
- Out of Hours
- GP Federations
- Primary Care Networks
- Community Services
- Digital Primary Care
- Occupational Health
- Prison Healthcare
- Private GP Services

About You
Key requirements:
- A proven billing history in healthcare recruitment
- Strong experience in winning new business and managing complex client relationships
- Leadership experience, or the ambition and ability to demonstrate leadership
The role may also accept candidates at Senior Consultant / Team Leader level, offering a competitive basic salary between £35,000 – £55,000, plus outstanding commission.
