About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Head of Private Banking / Team Leader to join a leading financial institution in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven private banking professional to lead a high-performing team while managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.
The successful candidate will combine strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record in relationship management, business development, and delivering exceptional client service. Fluency in Greek is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and motivate a team of Private Bankers to achieve business objectives.
- Manage and grow a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients, providing tailored wealth management and private banking solutions.
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and professional relationships.
- Build long-term client relationships based on trust, exceptional service, and expert financial advice.
- Collaborate with internal specialists across investment, lending, treasury, and wealth planning to deliver holistic client solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
- Monitor team performance and support professional development through coaching and mentoring.
- Contribute to the strategic growth and market positioning of the Private Banking division.

Essential Requirements
- Fluent Greek speaker (essential)
- Extensive experience within Private Banking or Wealth Management.
- Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring Relationship Managers or Private Bankers.
- Strong network and experience working with HNW/UHNW clients.
- Demonstrated success in business development and portfolio growth.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of investment products, lending solutions, and wealth management services.
- Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
