Head of Private Clients
Location: Leeds (Travel between regional offices in Yorkshire required)
Salary: £65k to £85k DOE + Bonus + Benefits
The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client insurance professional to lead and develop a growing High Net Worth proposition across four regional offices.
This is a strategic leadership role where you'll be responsible for enhancing the firm's Private Client offering, supporting colleagues across the business and driving sustainable growth through both direct and connected High Net Worth clients.
Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll shape the future direction of the division, ensuring exceptional client service, strong insurer relationships and a market-leading proposition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and delivery of the firm's Private Client strategy.
- Grow the High Net Worth portfolio through referrals, introducers and direct client relationships.
- Support colleagues across four regional offices with technical expertise and placement solutions.
- Build strong relationships with insurers to secure competitive terms and exclusive solutions.
- Identify opportunities within the existing commercial client base for Private Client referrals.
- Develop relationships with professional introducers including IFAs, accountants, solicitors, estate agents and wealth managers.
- Mentor and develop Private Client colleagues whilst promoting best practice across the business.
- Ensure outstanding levels of client service throughout the customer journey.
- Work alongside the marketing team to increase brand awareness and promote the firm's Private Client proposition.
- Monitor market trends and insurer appetite to ensure the business remains competitive.
- Work with senior leadership to deliver growth against agreed business objectives.

About You:
You'll be an experienced Private Client insurance professional with a proven track record of looking after High Net Worth and affluent clients whilst developing strong relationships with insurers and introducers.
You'll be commercially aware, relationship-driven and capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels. Whether you're already leading a Private Client division or looking to step into a broader strategic role, you'll have the credibility and ambition to build something special.

Experience Required:
- Strong background within High Net Worth / Private Client insurance.
- Experience handling complex and bespoke insurance programmes.
- Excellent insurer market knowledge.
- Proven relationship management and business development skills.
- Experience working with professional introducers and referral partners.
- Strong leadership, coaching or mentoring experience.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Cert CII qualified (or working towards ACII) would be advantageous.
