UCA Procurement Lead Recruitment

UCA are looking to recruit a skilled individual with significant knowledge and experience of procurement activity in property, facilities, and IT, and the use of frameworks who can lead the Procurement function within the Finance Department.

About the Role

The right candidate will lead the Procurement service delivery across the University ensuring continuity of supply, delivering value for money and ensuring the University meets its legislative requirements. You will lead negotiations and provide strategic direction for supplier contracts and service agreements that align to both cost saving and investment objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead negotiations and provide strategic direction for supplier contracts and service agreements
  • Ensure continuity of supply
  • Deliver value for money
  • Ensure the University meets its legislative requirements
  • Build strong relationships across the University and with external stakeholders
  • Work closely with the Director of Finance as a member of the Finance Senior Management Team
  • Lead a small Procurement Team
