Head of Procurement Business Partnering

ISS Facility Services UK is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement Business Partnering to lead the Procurement Business Partnering function and support the successful delivery of bids, transitions, and mobilisation activities across key accounts.

Working closely with commercial teams, you'll ensure procurement solutions are aligned, deliverable, and positioned to provide maximum value throughout the outsourcing contract lifecycle.

A key requirement for this role is demonstrable success in leading and inspiring a large, expanding Procurement Business Partnering team, delivering results through effective people leadership.

The Role

As part of an evolving Supply Chain and Procurement function, this role will play a key part in developing a value-led procurement approach that supports strategic growth and strengthens client partnerships.

Leading a team of Procurement Business Partners, you'll work collaboratively with account teams, clients, and internal stakeholders to support successful bids, effective mobilisation, operational performance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Procurement Business Partnering support across commercial bids, ensuring procurement solutions and value propositions are aligned and deliverable.
  • Support the mobilisation and transition of major contract wins, ensuring Supply Chain and Procurement activities are ready for successful implementation.
  • Manage and develop a growing team of Supply Chain and Procurement Business Partners, including colleagues embedded within client account teams.
  • Define and deliver account-specific strategic priorities in collaboration with account leadership teams.
  • Drive procurement and supply chain objectives through clear action plans, progress tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with commercial and sales teams to support bid strategies, manage expectations, and ensure procurement value is effectively represented.
  • Drive supplier performance, compliance, strategic sourcing activity, savings initiatives, and additional value creation opportunities.
  • Develop and enhance business partnering processes by leveraging best practice across procurement teams.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
