Head of Marketing Procurement (Maternity Cover)
Our client, a global leader in Business Information and Research, is looking for a Head of Marketing Procurement to drive strategic impact and transform their marketing partnerships for a maternity cover. This role requires working 4 or 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies in collaboration with internal marketing teams and external suppliers
- Ensure the best partners are secured through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing
- Negotiate impactful contracts that align with growth, sustainability, and diversity goals
- Maintain partnerships that drive measurable value
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in procurement or category management focused on marketing/media services
- Excellent skills in contract management, vendor negotiations, and stakeholder engagement
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Deep understanding of commercial contract terms and collaborative working with legal and compliance teams
- Demonstrated success in managing strategic supplier relationships and performance
- Ability to influence and work effectively within a fast-paced, matrixed organisation

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience working within a global or multi-divisional environment
- Knowledge of sustainability and diversity initiatives within procurement
- Familiarity with sourcing tools such as RFI/RFP processes and spend analytics software
Education and Experience
- Strong background in procurement or category management, ideally within marketing or media sectors
- Previous experience in a senior procurement role, leading cross-functional teams for 3+ years
- Relevant professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are advantageous
Work Model
- Hybrid work model: 2 days onsite per week (full-time) or 2-3 days for part-time 4 days a week, based on arrangement.
