Role Overview

  • Location: Hybrid (UK)
  • Package: Up to £120,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits
  • Industry: Technology / Procurement

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activity across IT, Technology and Professional Services categories.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver commercial procurement solutions.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that balance value, risk and speed to market.
  • Manage complex sourcing projects from initial requirements through to supplier selection and contract award.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and supplier contracts to secure the best outcomes for the business.
  • Drive cost reduction, cost avoidance and supplier performance initiatives across key spend areas.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams while promoting early engagement with Procurement.
  • Identify opportunities through spend analysis and market intelligence to improve commercial performance.
  • Support supplier governance, contract management and third-party risk management processes.
  • Lead, coach and develop a small team of procurement professionals.
  • Help shape procurement processes and policies within a growing, evolving business environment.

Main Skills Needed

  • Significant procurement leadership experience, ideally within IT, Technology and Professional Services categories.
  • Strong background managing complex sourcing programmes and high-value supplier negotiations.
  • Experience developing supplier relationships and delivering measurable commercial value.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to influence senior leaders.
  • Knowledge of procurement systems such as SAP, Ariba or Coupa would be advantageous.
  • Strong commercial awareness alongside analytical and project management expertise.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Confident presenting complex information in a clear, engaging way.
  • Collaborative leadership style with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Passion for delivering value while managing commercial and supply chain risk.
