Profile Summary

The Head of Product & R&D owns the vision, strategy, development, and commercial success of MACH’s product portfolio. This role leads both Product Management and R&D (Engineering/Development) to ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative, and commercially successful solutions.

You will operate at the intersection of customer need, commercial opportunity, and technical execution, driving MACH’s product and innovation agenda.

Roles & Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product strategy, roadmap, and execution across MACH portfolio Lead and integrate Product Management and R&D/Engineering teams globally Drive product P&L performance, including pricing, margin, and investment decisions Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of product releases aligned to roadmap Define and implement engineering strategy, architecture direction, and development standards Translate market trends (AI, automation, roaming evolution) into scalable product innovation Work closely with Sales & Marketing to deliver clear value propositions and successful GTM execution Engage key customers to ensure solutions address real operational and commercial pain points Establish strong product governance, prioritisation, and development lifecycle processes Optimise resource allocation across Product and R&D to maximise ROI and speed to market

Key Success Measures

Revenue growth and profitability of product portfolio Delivery predictability and quality (on-time, on-budget releases) Product adoption and customer satisfaction Engineering productivity and platform scalability Innovation velocity

Experience & Background

5+ years in product and/or engineering leadership roles Proven experience leading both Product Management and R&D/Engineering teams Strong track record of owning product strategy and commercial outcomes (P&L) Experience delivering complex, platform-based or telecom solutions Demonstrated ability to scale teams and deliver globally distributed products Experience with Agile software development environment Multi-year experience in Roaming industry, including GSMA & TADIG / BCE knowledge Knowledge of Roaming wholesale workflow from CDR to settlement
