Head of Product

We’re hiring for our first Head of Product to help us move from a customer-specified solutions model to a scalable AI-first e-assessment platform. You’ll join at a pivotal stage in our journey, reporting directly to the CEO and working in close collaboration with the founding team, to shape the future of assessment technology.

About sAInaptic

sAInaptic is building an AI-powered multi-modal assessment platform. We’re transforming how assessments are designed, delivered, marked and quality assured through an AI-enabled platform and API for awarding organisations, training providers, employers and educational institutions.

Our AI has already marked millions of free-text responses, saved thousands of marking hours, and delivered savings of more than £150,000 per organisation for existing customers.

sAInaptic was founded by a team of educators and data scientists. We’ve grown from five to eleven people in the last 12 months and following our seed round, are investing in the scalable platform that will support our next phase of growth.

The Opportunity & What You’ll Own

As Head of Product & Design, you'll work closely with the founders and Head of AI & Engineering to define and execute sAInaptic's product & design strategy.

You'll transform successful customer solutions into a scalable, cohesive product platform that delivers a consistent user experience and long-term value.

Working across customers, commercial teams and engineering, you'll shape product & design direction while building and evolving these capabilities as the company grows.

  • AI product experience: Bring experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate your own workflow so we ship faster, test & iterate quickly, whilst maintaining client trust and product quality.
  • Platform unification: Work with our AI and engineering teams to turn our existing and growing portfolio of products into one cohesive platform experience.
  • Delivery: Stay close to product delivery by leading product planning, defining requirements, and owning the product backlog working with engineers to plan & deliver.
  • Hands-on Product Design: Personally lead the design of user journeys, workflows and interfaces, from early concepts and wireframes through to detailed prototypes. Establish and evolve a coherent design language and reusable interaction patterns across the platform.
  • Discovery: Develop deep customer relationships to understand assessment workflows and behaviour, then validate ideas, prioritise investment and continuously iterate the platform.
  • Commercial Product Leadership: Partner closely with Sales, Customer Success and the founders to identify market opportunities, shape product positioning and ensure the roadmap delivers measurable commercial value.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
