Head of Product & Marketing
Chorley Building Society is proud to serve members with products, service and values that put people first. As we continue to grow, we’ve created a new role of Head of Product & Marketing to shape our member value proposition, strengthen our competitive position and lead a small, capable team to deliver outstanding outcomes.
We welcome applicants with deep product expertise, even if their marketing experience is developing.
The successful applicant will lead the Society’s product and marketing function, ensuring our products, pricing, brand and communications work together to deliver sustainable growth and good member outcomes. You’ll provide strategic direction, hands-on leadership and ensure Consumer Duty and good governance are embedded throughout the product lifecycle.

You’ll thrive here if you are:
- Strong in product leadership including product design, pricing, governance and lifecycle management
- Comfortable leading marketing activity, even if still developing in this area
- Fully knowledgeable of all relevant regulation, including Consumer Duty, PROD and Financial Promotions. You’ll be confident assessing products to ensure that they offer fair value.
- Experienced in financial services, ideally retail savings and mortgages
- Commercially sharp, member focused and confident working with senior stakeholders
- A capable leader who empowers teams and builds a positive, high-performance culture
- Knowledgeable of the mortgage and savings’ sales and distribution processes
- Able to operate at both a strategic level and a hands-on operational level, switching comfortably between long-term direction and day to day delivery
