Job Description

We have a new opportunity for an established, high-impact product leader to join our Consumer Services function as Head of Product - Consumer Growth & Experience, reporting directly to the Chief Product and Commercial Officer.

Your mission is to drive growth, engagement, and long-term customer value by creating seamless, personalised, and high-performing product experiences, by leading our new domain – Access and Activation, owning the end-to-end customer entry point and early lifecycle.

You will lead and inspire a talented product team, setting direction, driving execution, and embedding innovation, ensuring more customers discover, access, and regularly engage with Experian, particularly our flagship credit score proposition.

What You’ll Be Doing

Customer Experience & Personalisation

  • Deliver seamless login and onboarding journeys that maximise conversion
  • Evolve the Home experience into a personalised hub, driving deeper engagement
  • Champion a customer-first mindset, aligning product experience with Experian’s brand purpose

Innovation, Tools & AI

  • Champion modern product tools, experimentation, and data-led ways of working
  • Leverage AI-driven workflows and personalisation to enhance product experiences and efficiency
  • Balance innovation with secure access and fraud prevention capabilities

Leadership & Team Performance

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing product team, driving accountability and outcomes
  • Act as a hands-on leader, setting clear direction while ensuring strong execution
  • Influence and align cross-functional stakeholders, including senior leadership

Customer Growth & Lifecycle Ownership

  • Own strategy and delivery across acquisition, onboarding, activation, and early engagement
  • Drive growth in new customers, credit score views, and app engagement, including underserved segments
  • Optimise re-engagement and lifecycle journeys to increase retention and long-term value

Data & Performance Driven Delivery

  • Define and track key growth and engagement metrics across the funnel
  • Use experimentation and analytics to optimise performance and prioritisation
  • Translate insights into clear actions that drive measurable impact

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a senior product leader in a consumer-focused, digital environment
  • Track record of leading and scaling teams while delivering measurable growth outcomes
  • Experience using modern product tools and working with AI-enabled workflows or automation
  • Strong experience across customer lifecycle, onboarding, activation, and engagement strategies
  • Deep understanding of personalisation, app-first experiences, and conversion optimisation
  • Highly data-driven, with hands-on experience in experimentation and performance analysis
  • Strong leadership presence, with the ability to influence at executive level and align cross-functional teams
  • Understanding of security, authentication, and fraud prevention, balancing risk with seamless UX
  • Passion for customer experience and driving meaningful engagement at scale
