Head of Product Governance
Part of LSL Property Services plc, PRIMIS Mortgage Network
PRIMIS Mortgage Network are the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK, with 1,000+ business partners and ~3,000 advisors. The Financial Services division also includes TMA (Mortgage Club) and Linear Financial Solutions.
We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Product Governance to oversee and manage the product governance framework across our proposition portfolio, as well as drive product and proposition risk management and innovation.
What the Role Entails
- Design, deliver, and oversee product governance frameworks to interpret regulation and mitigate risk.
- Develop a due diligence process ensuring thorough assessment of new panel providers and lenders.
- Manage product line reviews and tenders to guarantee the appropriateness of existing panels and new propositions.
- Own proposition and product data, with a focus on identifying risks, opportunities, and insights.
- Project manage product and proposition initiatives, and represent the division in related business projects.
- Act as liaison between the proposition team and legal in contractual negotiations with panel providers.
- Ensure the entire proposition is customer-focused, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with market needs.
- Utilise market knowledge to identify and develop opportunities that support business objectives and strategy.

Key Knowledge & Expertise
- Successfully delivered a portfolio of financial services products that provide strong customer outcomes.
- Current, practical experience with regulatory requirements (especially in UK mortgage and insurance).
- Deep expertise in product/proposition design, development, and compliance.
- Strong understanding of the intermediary market in financial services.
- Proven success in senior product/proposition roles within financial services.
- 10+ years of demonstrated business experience in financial services governance.
- Analytical prowess, project management, and relationship-building skills.

Salary & Benefits
- Competitive base salary of £65,000 DOE (Negotiable).

Flexible working options: This role can be home-based (UK) or hybrid (Solihull). Some mandatory attendance at in-person meetings in Solihull will be required.
