About The Company

Technology has revolutionised the world we live in, yet somehow the rail industry has stayed much the same as it was 30 years ago. Seatfrog is here to change that.

We're on a mission to build a better future for billions of passengers and the rail companies that carry them. We've already reinvented how upgrading your seat is done - now affordable and lightning fast to over 870 destinations - and enabled customers to effortlessly swap between train journeys. But we're not stopping there! We're on our way to becoming the ultimate travel companion and the only app you'll ever need when travelling by rail in the UK and beyond.

We’re building a stellar team to achieve our audacious goals. We strive to create an environment where you can do your best work. Join us, and you’ll be challenged and supported in equal measure. Ours is a culture with spirit and substance and our people are empowered to make the bold decisions others wouldn’t and haven't.

About The Role

Salary: £110-150k + Equity

Seatfrog is a category-defining travel technology business at a pivotal inflexion point. We’ve spent years building deep into the travel stack, creating a powerful travel intelligence and data platform that sits at the intersection of rail and modern mobility as well as a great direct-to-consumer mobile app.

The business is fundamentally reshaping how travel can monetise premium inventory and how travellers access real-time upgrades. Seatfrog unlocks incremental revenue for partners while delivering a more dynamic, flexible travel experience for customers.

We're now at a pivotal moment in our journey. As demand for our enterprise products accelerates and our consumer marketplace continues to grow, we're looking for an exceptional Head of Product to help guide the next phase of growth alongside the existing Leadership team.

Having moved beyond early-stage product innovation, we’re now entering a pivotal phase of platform scale, monetisation and international expansion. The opportunity is to convert years of infrastructure and data investment into a category-defining global platform. This is a rare Head of Product opportunity to work directly with the Founders (CEO and CTO), shaping the strategic direction of a business that sits at the intersection of consumer enterprise software, and data-driven infrastructure. The Head of Product will take full ownership of product strategy across the two-sided marketplace bringing clarity, structure and commercial focus to decision-making while elevating a high-performing product organisation into its next stage of maturity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The Head of Product will define how the business prioritises opportunity across multiple complex product surfaces, ensuring alignment between consumer growth, enterprise expansion, and data monetisation strategy. The Head of Product will also play a critical role in shaping how proprietary data is packaged, commercialised and scaled globally, working closely with senior stakeholders and external partners at executive level.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on strategic leadership role working directly with our Founder. You'll bring clarity, challenge, and structure to product thinking across both our consumer and enterprise platforms. You'll define strategy, improve prioritisation and decision-making, unlocking the value of a highly differentiated data and intelligence platform.

You’ll join the leadership team reporting into the CEO and co-founder. As Head of Product you will lead a team of Product Managers across consumer and enterprise, as well as the Design and Customer Support functions. You’ll partner closely with the CTO, Head of Growth and VP Commercial to accelerate growth, finesse user experience on both sides of the platform, and ultimately create the seamless Seatfrog product flywheel. Seatfrog sits on an extraordinary data asset. You'll shape how to bring this platform to life as a cohesive product, not just modular pieces bolted together. Data monetisation is a core strategic lever in this role.

Your role is to establish frameworks for defining problems properly, prioritising ruthlessly, and making good decisions faster. You’ll elevate and motivate the team, run product reviews, and challenge cross functional leadership effectively to drive the next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and shape product strategy across consumer and enterprise
  • Improve product thinking, prioritisation, and decision-making frameworks which are delivered and delegated efficiently through sophisticated sequencing
  • Unlock the value of our data platform and drive data monetisation opportunities
  • Support and elevate the Product organisation through coaching and challenging the team to reach their potential
  • Partner with external client stakeholders across Train Operators and core partnership vendors
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Marketing to create and drive one seamless Product Roadmap
  • Own the full funnel, prioritising and shipping features and updates, holding a healthy tension between curating the best user experience and driving revenue
  • Continue to shape how we build using modern tooling, AI, and automation
  • Enhance a cross functional shipping culture, where Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics and Finance are all pulling in a united direction
