Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
METTLER TOLEDO is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Head of Product Inspection (Sales) to lead and grow the division. This is a senior leadership role with full responsibility for business performance, strategic direction, team development, and customer success across the UK and Ireland.
As a key member of the local leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering sustainable growth, strengthening market position, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences while collaborating closely with colleagues across our global organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead, develop and grow the Product Inspection business across the UK & Ireland.
- Deliver sales, profitability and operational targets aligned with annual and long-term business plans.
- Drive strategic initiatives in partnership with senior leadership and global stakeholders.
- Lead and develop high-performing sales and sales support teams.
- Implement customer-centric strategies that strengthen relationships and market penetration.
- Drive lead generation, value selling, CRM excellence and commercial effectiveness programmes.
- Support the development of impactful marketing and business development initiatives.
- Manage budgets, inventory performance and operational expenditure.
- Promote cross-functional collaboration with service teams and other business divisions.
- Champion continuous improvement, organisational development and change management.

What You Need to Succeed
We're looking for an inspirational leader with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to deliver results.
You will ideally have:
- Demonstrable leadership experience, with a track record of building and developing successful teams.
- Experience managing a P&L and delivering sustainable financial performance.
- Strong strategic thinking and business planning capabilities.
- Experience leading change and driving organisational transformation.
- A customer-first mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across functions and international business networks.
- Experience coaching and developing individuals to reach their full potential.
- Strong influencing, communication and stakeholder management skills.
