The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Head of Product - Special Projects to help shape and deliver one of Rezzil’s most exciting and strategically important areas of work.
Special Projects is Rezzil’s innovation and incubation vertical. It is where we explore new ideas, develop high-impact experiences, test new technologies and shape opportunities that may become future products, partnerships or business lines.
The team sits at the intersection of sport, technology, data, fan engagement, creative production and client-led innovation. Projects may include immersive experiences, interactive installations, partner-led innovation work, sports technology pilots, proof-of-concept builds, bespoke client projects and high-profile experiences for major clients and rights holders. Previous and upcoming examples include immersive experiences for Wembley and the Premier League.
Reporting to the Head of Special Projects, this role will be responsible for turning ambitious ideas, partner opportunities and early-stage concepts into clear product direction, scoped delivery plans and successful outcomes. You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, partners and senior leadership to define what we are building, why it matters, how it should be delivered and what success looks like.
The right person may come from a product, production, agency, creative technology, sports entertainment, innovation, brand experience or similar environment where complex projects are shaped and delivered for major clients and partners.
What You’ll Do
- Own product planning and delivery across Special Projects, working closely with the Head of Special Projects to turn new opportunities into clear, structured work.
- Help position Special Projects as an innovation and incubation function, supporting Rezzil in exploring new ideas, technologies, client opportunities and product directions.
- Take early-stage concepts, client briefs and strategic opportunities and turn them into clear product requirements, scopes, delivery plans, budgets, milestones and team requirements.
- Work with the Head of Special Projects and senior leadership to assess new opportunities, define what success looks like and identify which ideas have the potential to become scalable products, services or long-term partnerships.
- Act as a key bridge between clients and the commercial, creative, design, production, engineering and art teams.
- Lead the product definition and delivery of high-profile, client-led projects across sport, technology, interactive experiences, content, data and emerging product opportunities.
- Support the development of proof-of-concept work, prototypes and pilots to validate new ideas before wider investment.
- Manage stakeholder expectations throughout each project, including scope, timelines, feedback, approvals and change requests.
- Ensure projects are commercially controlled, protecting quality while keeping budgets, timelines and delivery risks on track.
- Work with internal producers, designers, developers, artists and external partners to ensure delivery is clear, realistic and well managed.
- Bring creative, product and technical judgement to project discussions, helping teams make smart decisions around feasibility, impact, user experience, risk and quality.
- Build repeatable processes for how Special Projects are scoped, defined, delivered, reviewed, and, where appropriate, transitioned into wider product development.
- Translate client needs, user needs and business goals into clear decisions for the team.
- Represent the product direction of Special Projects internally and externally, helping Rezzil maintain a high standard across client-facing and innovation-led work.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
