Head of Production
Ready for your next big move?
We're looking for an exceptional Head of Production to lead the delivery of unforgettable live experiences.
This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced Senior Production Manager ready to step into a Head of Production role, or an established Head of Production looking for a fresh challenge within a fast-paced, ambitious agency.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk all day. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves live events, thrives on being onsite, enjoys rolling their sleeves up when needed, and is happiest when they're leading a team through complex productions from concept to completion.
If you're commercially minded, highly organised, calm under pressure and have a reputation for delivering exceptional events, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll take ownership of our entire production function, ensuring every event is delivered to the highest possible standard. You'll lead our production team, build strong client relationships and oversee multiple large-scale experiential projects across both B2B and B2C environments.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of experiential events from pitch through to live delivery.
- Translating creative concepts into practical production plans.
- Managing large production budgets and ensuring projects remain commercially successful.
- Leading and mentoring a talented production team, helping people develop and grow.
- Working closely with creative, account management and finance teams to deliver seamless projects.
- Taking ownership of logistics, venues, fabrication, technical production, health & safety, staffing and onsite delivery.
- Being the senior point of contact for production both internally and externally.
- Solving problems before they become problems.
- Driving continuous improvements across production processes and delivery standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We're Looking For Someone Who...
Has the experience
You'll already be either:
- A Senior Production Manager who's ready to take that next step into a Head of Production position, or
- An existing Head of Production looking for a new challenge.
You'll have extensive experience delivering complex live events and experiential campaigns and be comfortable juggling multiple high-profile projects.
Is genuinely hands-on
This isn't a role where you'll simply oversee others. We want someone who enjoys getting involved. Whether that's onsite builds, managing suppliers, troubleshooting last-minute challenges or supporting the team during live events, you're happy to roll your sleeves up and lead from the front.
Weekend work is sometimes part of live event delivery, so you'll be someone who understands the industry and is happy to be onsite when projects require it.
Knows the industry inside out
You'll have an excellent network of trusted production suppliers and freelancers and ideally bring some of your own supplier relationships with you. You'll know who delivers quality, who can be relied upon under pressure and how to negotiate the best outcomes for clients and the business.
Experience across:
- AV
- Scenic build
- Fabrication
- Venues
- Technical production
- Logistics
- Staffing
- Health & Safety is highly desirable.
Loves leading people
You've successfully managed production teams before and know how to get the very best from people. You're approachable, supportive and happy to coach others, but you're equally comfortable making difficult decisions when required.
You'll inspire confidence, build trust and create an environment where people enjoy coming to work.

Thinks commercially
You understand that brilliant events also need to make commercial sense. You'll be confident managing significant production budgets, negotiating with suppliers and ensuring projects are delivered profitably without compromising quality.
Working Pattern
This role is based in Berkshire.
We work together in the office four days per week, with one day working from home. Being together allows us to collaborate, support one another and create exceptional work, while still offering flexibility.
As this is a live events role, you'll also be expected to travel to events and work onsite, including occasional evenings and weekends when projects require.
What Makes You Successful
You'll probably describe yourself as someone who is:
- Calm under pressure.
- Exceptionally organised.
- A natural leader.
- Commercially aware.
- Solutions-focused.
- Passionate about live events.
- Great with clients.
- Fantastic at building supplier relationships.
- Comfortable making decisions.
- Someone people naturally trust.
Why You'll Love It Here
You'll join a collaborative team that genuinely enjoys creating incredible experiences together. You'll have the opportunity to shape the future of the production department, influence how projects are delivered and build a high-performing team around you.
We offer:
- Competitive salary.
- Performance-related bonus.
- Pension.
- Ongoing professional development.
- A supportive and ambitious culture.
- Team socials and events.
- Wellbeing support.
- The opportunity to work on exciting, high-profile experiential projects.
