Head of Production – Leading Technology Manufacturer (Near Bristol)

A leading technology manufacturer based near Bristol is seeking an experienced Head of Production to drive performance across a complex, high-value manufacturing environment. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while supporting ongoing business growth.

The organisation operates in a welcoming, collaborative environment, where staff are encouraged to develop their skills through structured training and development opportunities.


About the Role

The Head of Production will:

  • Lead production, stores, and dispatch operations
  • Improve processes and champion a culture of continuous improvement
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business growth
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing outputs

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and developing leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving, planning, and communication abilities
  • Commercial awareness with a data-driven approach
