Your Team: You will join our dynamic commercial and product data teams, working right at the heart of our digital revenue and inventory strategies. This collaborative team focuses on translating complex programmatic data into actionable insights that power our world-famous brands and drive business growth.

Your Role: As the Head of Programmatic Analysis, you will champion the data strategy for our commercial and product teams, directly leading and mentoring a talented group of three Data Analysts. In this impactful role reporting to the Digital Commercial Director, you will oversee high-quality insights that maximize revenue and optimize product performance across our digital ecosystem. It is an exciting opportunity to shape data solutions and drive strategic growth for some of the UK's most iconic media brands.

Day to day you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three Data Analysts, balancing workloads across product and business priorities to ensure key objectives are met.
  • Oversee the execution of yield optimization strategies, guiding the team to maximize revenue through the ad technology stack.
  • Drive the proactive formulation of revenue and yield-boosting opportunities by analyzing programmatic, audience, and inventory performance data.
  • Spearhead the enhancement of programmatic analysis tools and capabilities to build scalable data solutions.
  • Translate complex technical and statistical data into actionable strategic insights for senior business and product stakeholders.

What we're looking for from you:

  • A leadership background in mentoring or managing a team of data analysts while successfully balancing cross-departmental requests.
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic advertising ecosystem and digital inventory management.
  • Technical proficiency in data manipulation tools such as SQL (e.g., BigQuery, MySQL) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio), with Python skills being a distinct advantage.
  • Hands-on experience working with large-scale datasets to extract precise, detailed market insights.
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Excel for complex data modeling and reporting.
  • An educational background in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Exceptional communication skills demonstrated by the ability to translate complex statistical data into clear, actionable business strategies for non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to project ownership, with a proven ability to independently drive high-performance team initiatives and foster collaboration.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
